Before/After School Programs & School Vacation Camps

Make Every Moment Count

Staff members plan fun-filled schedules incorporating everything from painting and playing games to cooking and community service. Structured activities are mixed with supervised recreation to ensure members enjoy down time as well as opportunities for learning and enrichment. Our caring counselors encourage even the shyest members to step outside their comfort zone.

Ages served

Our school age sites welcome children in grades K-4 (“Junior Program”) and grades 5-8 (“Senior Program”).  In addition, we invite high school students to drop in to our main clubhouses in Concord, Laconia and Suncook after school.

Transportation

We provide transportation from many local elementary and middle schools. However, the Club does not provide transportation home in the evenings.

Hours

Most sites stay open until 5:30 or 6 pm.  Many locations open for early release days and school breaks (starting at 7 am).  If your site is not open you can sign up for another site.

Food

All locations serve a snack and our main clubhouses serve dinner.  Please pack a lunch for full days.

School Vacations

We welcome families to register for school vacations only, although all registrants must pay the $40 annual registration fee.

Program Cost

The cost of attending is a $40 annual membership fee plus a weekly rate. Please visit your location’s page for weekly rate information and a link to registration.

New Hampshire Childcare Scholarship

We strongly encourage you to see if the state of New Hampshire will help pay for the cost of care.

Will I qualify?

The state expanded income limits and more households may now be eligible: for example, a five-person household in 2026 can make up to $144,530.

How do I apply?

To find out more and apply, please visit this site.  Please feel free to reach out to your site director for assistance.

Can I enroll while waiting for the State?

While you wait for the state scholarship decision, you’re welcome to enroll but must pay the full rate. Once the state sends payments for your account, the credits can be used for future fees. If the credit balance exceeds $100 we would be happy to refund your credit card upon request.

Club Financial Assistance

If you don’t qualify or are unable to apply for a State of NH Child Care Scholarship, the Boys & Girls Club offers a reduced fee based on family income.

What proof do I need?

Documentation may include three most recent pay stubs, Social Security benefits, food stamps explanation of benefits, etc.  Members will be charged the full fee until the finance team confirms proof of income.

How do I apply?

To apply for Club assistance, please follow instructions in the after school program enrollment application to upload proof of income.
