Summer day camp is a happy, busy time at our Boys & Girls Club sites! Camps are geared toward children entering Kindergarten through grade 8. All our camp counselors are CPR, First Aid and Water Safety certified.

Day Camp Experience

Most sites offer the typical day camp experience, like water games, arts and crafts, field trips, competitions and recreation time.

Small Group Camps

Some locations offer small-group specialty camps, like art camp and sports camp, depending on enrollment and staff availability.

Camp Ages

Most sites accept children in grades K-8 (grade going into the next school year). Please check your location accordingly.

 

Camp Dates

Typically, we operate camp for ten weeks, from the second week of June through the third week of August, depending on the school district’s schedule.

 

Camp Hours

Most sites open at 7 am and close at 6 pm (may vary slightly by location).

Program Cost

The cost of attending is a $40 annual membership fee plus a weekly rate. To find your weekly fee and register, please visit your location’s page.

New Hampshire Childcare Scholarship

We strongly encourage you to see if the state of New Hampshire will help pay for the cost of care.

Will I qualify?

The state expanded income limits and more households may now be eligible: for example, a five-person household in 2026 can make up to $144,530.

How do I apply?

Can I enroll while waiting for the State?

While you wait for the state scholarship decision, you’re welcome to enroll but must pay the full rate.

Do I get money back if I’m eligible for state assistance?

Once the state sends payment, we will credit your account. Then, you can use these credits for future fees. However, if the credit balance exceeds $100, we would be happy to refund your credit card upon request.

Club Financial Assistance

If you don’t qualify or are unable to apply for a State of NH Child Care Scholarship, the Boys & Girls Club offers a reduced fee based on family income.

What proof do I need?

Documentation may include three most recent pay stubs, Social Security benefits, food stamps explanation of benefits, etc.

What if I can’t find the documents?

Members will be charged the full fee until the finance team confirms proof of income.

How do I apply?

To apply for Club assistance, please follow instructions in the after school program enrollment application to upload proof of income.

Yes; $10 per week for summer camp, except for Lisbon.

In Writing Only

You may add, cancel, or swap summer camp weeks by emailing our Membership Department (membership@nhyouth.org) based on availability.  They will not accept changes or cancellations will be accepte by phone or verbally.

3-Week Notice and Cancellation Fee

The Membership Department will accept cancellations up to three (3) weeks before the Monday of the scheduled week AND a $25.00 per child/per week cancellation fee will apply.  Cancellation fees are charged in full at the time the form is received.

Failure to Cancel

If the member is registered for a summer camp week but does not attend for any reason or does not cancel according to this policy, you will be responsible for the full weekly fee.

Early Bird Discount May Not Apply

Please note that adding weeks after May 1st will be at the current full rate.

Generally, children should always be prepared with a lunch, snacks and plenty of water, as well as a towel and swimsuit in case of water activities.

Activity Calendar

Your camp director will provide an activity calendar to refer to.

Camp Tee-Shirts

Please note that Club tee-shirts are required on field trip days.

The camp fee includes many field trips. However, occasionally there will be an additional field trip expense as noted on the sites’ summer activity calendar. Please let your site director know if this presents a hardship.

All sites provide snacks. Some locations also provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please ask your site director.

We process payments weekly on Fridays following the week attended, by debit or credit card only.
