New Childcare Center Will Be the Workforce Behind the Workforce
The Boys & Girls Club of the North Country will open an Early Learning Center in Lisbon with space for 56 children in 2026. Those children will join the more than 100 youth already served each year by the Boys & Girls Club in the greater Littleton region. The expanded programming addresses an urgent local need, given that area daycare wait lists are extremely long.

$1.97 Million Grant for Child Care Center
The Boys & Girls Club of the North Country has been allocated a $1.97 million grant from the Governor’s Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery (GOFERR), led by Commissioner Taylor Caswell. The grant of ARPA funds will be used to create a new child care center at its Lisbon clubhouse.
Dan Church Pledges $1 Million Gift to Empower Future Generations at Boys & Girls Clubs
Retired local business leader Dan Church has pledged a transformational, unrestricted gift of one million dollars through the Dan and Terry Church Charity Fund to support programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire. In addition, Mr. Church is helping provide for the needs of future generations by including the organization in his estate plans.
